Lou Hamilton did a degree in Fine Art at Byam Shaw, then an MA in Public Art at Chelsea College of Art. Having worked in various medium in Public Art and Community projects from scrap steel, glass, fabric, concrete, canvas to fibreglass, Lou’s main focus these days is to explore how we look after ourselves and our environment through creativity and curiosity. The final pieces may be time-based, ephemeral or longstanding, but what is most import is the process, how people experience it and how it shifts their perspective on the wellbeing of the world around us.
