Break Through

Our bodies are kind guides. They forgive us for trashing them, overusing them, overworking them, poisoning them and castigating them.

But only for so long.

Eventually they start to send up messages to us, using pain or minor accidents to let us know they are at breaking point.

Our bodies tell us when they can’t take any more.

And we often ignore their pleas.

So the pleas turn into cries. Ever louder.

The pain gets more intense, the freak accidents more life threatening.

This is what happened to this week’s Brave New Girl podcast guest, Sandra Wright.

When her body forced her to stop her adrenalin-fuelled life, she had to come up close and personal with all that she was running away from.

She went from break down, to finding bravery, to discovering her own beautiful break through.

And from there she learned to help others navigate their way back to themselves too.

BEING BRAVE

On the other side of fear is emotional freedom. Listen to how Sandra claimed hers and helps others regain theirs.

BRAVE NEW GIRL podcast

Sandra Wright who went from extreme adrenal burnout to re-calibrating her life and becoming a bravery coach to encourage stressed-out individuals, juggling busy careers, teams and personal lives to balance emotional wellbeing, in order to communicate successfully and find fulfilment from within.

The last few years, helped by the pandemic, have seen Sandra herself, releasing toxic relationships, addiction, and expectation, but also accessing the true creative inside her; the artist, the free spirit and more gentle and kinder soul, that she had lost along the way.

As a child, despite a broken home, she'd always been sporty, academic, content and outgoing. And growing up and heading out into the world, she went straight from school into retail management, cheeky, likeable, memorable, with escapism as the driver. She was adventurous and an adrenaline junkie.

But her fast living came with set-backs. A serious car crash on the motorway, a head injury sustained at work, unhealthy relationships, and eventually she was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. She had to learn to slow down.

She went on a retreat to train as an emotional well being coach and realised she needed to learn to look after herself too.

Her purpose became to support others to be happy, with themselves, their decisions and the environment and systems that they operate within. When they have lost faith she held hope for them that there are options. She shone the light to help them find themselves.

She appeared to go through the next evolution every 7 years to find her true north, and each 7 years the vision of who she is becomes becomes clearer.

Now, with her business partner Loredana Caminiti (interviewed for next week's episode) they run barn retreats with horses using the equine assisted learning method, and Sandra bring her emotional bravery coaching into the mix by helping people connect with nature.

Thanks so much Sandra for sharing how we can be Brave To Break Free from what’s not working for us and learn to live more balanced lives. Thanks also for showing the power of nature to lead us back to ourselves and our own true nature.
