How can we live in deep, embodied presence with true sustainability for ourselves so that we heal & our world heals?

If you're interested in living life embodying the power of love listen to my Brave New Girls podcast guest this week Lara Raybone, a renowned leader in feminine wisdom, empowerment, and transformational healing.

As the founder of Liberation in Love, Lara creates impactful experiences that guide women on profound journeys of self-discovery, inner union, and embodied love. Lara shares how she helps us become liberated in love for ourselves and the world around us. She shows us that when we tune into ourselves with love, we are better able to tune outwards with compassion & empathy to other people and to the planet.

Lara's journey from international model to spiritual guide began with a series of physical injuries that forced her to slow down and look inward. Through this process, she discovered that true healing comes from developing an intimate relationship with ourselves - learning to love and accept all parts of who we are.

The path to self-love isn't about rose petal baths (though they're nice!). It's about developing a deep connection with ourselves that allows us to show up fully in life. Many women, especially mothers, tend to put themselves last, running themselves ragged trying to care for everyone else. This pattern of over-giving stems from both biological wiring and societal conditioning.

Lara emphasises that we carry ancestral wounds around being seen and expressing ourselves fully as women. Historically, women who displayed their gifts openly - whether as healers, wise women, or simply in their beauty and sensuality - faced persecution. This collective trauma can make it feel unsafe to step into our power even today.

The key to healing lies in cultivating presence - learning to be fully with ourselves and our experiences rather than constantly seeking escape through distractions. This presence allows us to develop intimacy with all parts of ourselves, including the uncomfortable ones like rage or grief. When we can hold space for these aspects with love, they become sources of power rather than shame.

Working with groups, Lara creates safe spaces where women can express their full spectrum of emotions and reclaim their connection to magic, intuition, and the sacred feminine. As we heal individually, we contribute to collective healing, inspiring others to step into their authentic power.
